Vernon Teachers' Institute - it is a life changing experience. That was the most incredible time in my life. I can still close my eyes and visualize sitting out there on the piazza early in the morning watching the sun come up and late at night when some of my new friends were scared of ghosts. Every day I talk about Mt. Vernon to my students and everyone else that will listen I just wanted to encourage everyone out there to go to the Mt.
